DJ 06:26
DJ: She said something like ''I’m a DJ you’re a song. Take me out and turn me on, let yourself go'' DJ make me dance, let's move around in particular motions. Turn right, turn left, turn there, turn upside down. Let's move around in particular motions. Laisse-moi bouger de façon désordonnée.
Mrs Welbanks 02:36
MRS WELBANKS: She was just 17, a very very small queen. But they said “if the maiden’s not a virgin we will stone her” (9). She flew to London for gravy and pie, And I now see the future. We are all exposed for change, for change and bread. We are dead but alive. We are quiet but breathing. We are boring but living. This is not 1995 anymore (17). She said“I get my inspiration from drinking beers and riding bikes, you can come with me if that’s what you like”. She’s walking from the scene of some quick romantic delight, saying you're a gloomy book I would not write. I'm leaving now with a taste of salt, I'm leaving now for sweet sweet wine (35).
CLANDESTINE FASHION: We can’t avoid them, so we charge head first blind and beautiful. There’s no way they can steal this feeling from us. The feeling of knowing we are gold and our hands are glowing for the righteous causes and the right reasons. The only secret that’s left is the one we are creating right now. The clandestine fashion we are building is slowly taking over their heads and feet. We can cut our own nails, we can eat colorful things. We can dance to the original glam blast. We can play for hours, and then play for days. We are beautiful sugary youngsters. There’s nothing to stop us now. And if you don’t fall in love now, we never will. We can’t wait to adore this culture that we hate. This is the beginning. You are reading the letters, the words. This is for you in the springtime. The secret of you and I. Now
Ruby Tea 02:50
RUBY TEA: I am a sacred wreck and this is where I pray. The church of you and me, can't break up the worshipers. History is always written with sorrow and pity. History is always written by the winners. We’re not all saints like Jackie O. We’re more like dead sharks floating away from the east coast. From the North shore and the cold cold. Would you care for a spot of ruby Tea?
1995 07:30
Red and Fat 03:07
RED AND FAT: I'm not in total heart and mind right now. It's because of your skin, she said. How many more books do you need to read? Is your phone dead, or are you just being polite? Your bed is empty and so is your head. Your photos are all red and fat, girl.
RED RED OPERATION: She said something like, I’m a DJ you’re a song. She had a red red heart with a little bridge in it. Can you tell me, where or when it will destroy us in the end? You can’t rely on a friend who’s dead. Can you tell me?
COLD BLOOD, WHITE BEDS, SHINY CROWN: Cold blood, white beds, shiny crown, skinny pale legs and bread. I will read if you cook, she said. But she slept all day. Waiting for the storm as if dead. Pretending to be alive. The bridge will take you back, she said. You will never need them again. You are learning to be alone again. Lonely pastel white features. And all day long we talk about your weak frame, your devotion, your white skin and how you’ve been lied to.

Judith Judith by (swedish) Death Polka is a little like listening to Yanqui U.X.O. and Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret at the same time. It is a unique and timeless neo-classical-ambient-pop record that is as meaningful now as when it was composed. The enigmatic musical duo of Sam Murdock and Guillaume Lizotte are emotionally charged in a historical burlesque way. Judith Judith is an invented story about an orphaned girl named Judith who would have died in the Quebec Bridge tragedy over a century ago. The details are invented but the tragedy of the bridge collapse is real.
The album originally came out in the summer of 2006 and it was always meant to be pressed on vinyl. This special edition is a tribute to history, to the music and the genius art of Julien Pacaud. The 12″ clear vinyl, limited to 275 hand numbered copies, includes a mysterious envelope with a CD, postcards and a (swedish) Death Polka church pamphlet-like fanzine with the piano score. So, now you have three distinct versions of the album, with different track listings on the CD, LP and download. This is the first co-release and collaboration between P572 and Label Obscura.
